_.escapeRegExp([string=''])

Escapes the RegExp special characters "^", "$", "\", ".", "*", "+", "?", "(", ")", "[", "]", "{", "}", and "|" in string.

Arguments

  1. [string=''] (string)

    The string to escape.

Returns (string)

Returns the escaped string.

Example

_.escapeRegExp('[lodash](https://lodash.com/)');
// => '\[lodash\]\(https://lodash\.com/\)'
